Join us for a story time the whole family can enjoy!  While the books, songs, and rhymes will be for 1 and 2 year olds, siblings are welcome. 

For one and two year olds.

Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.

Drop-in, no registration required. 

Book a Librarian is a one-on-one session for personalized reference assistance with a librarian that is uninterrupted.

In two sessions, learn how to make the infamous Granny Hexagon Cardigan. Knowledge of basic crochet stitches needed. Materials provided but feel free to bring your favorite yarn.  For tweens, teens and adults. 

Come write in! Poets, novelists, cartoonists, and more are invited to an hour of writing inspiration and sharing. Work on your existing projects or try a new prompt in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

The group meets to read poetry written by those that attend.

Fun and hands-on, this interactive STEAM storytime will encourage preschoolers’ curiosity about the world around them through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math themed activities.

Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.

The Woodlawn Book Club will be discussing various books by Agatha Christie on December 9, 2025 at 2pm. Read any mystery by Agatha Christie, share the gruesome details with the group, and identify the killer. Enjoy tea and light refreshments.

Welcome to a new REELS Spotlight Cinema Series at Scotia, where each series of films highlights a particular actor, director, or theme. This series spotlight shines on movies that are based on books that have been banned or challenged!.
