Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.

Welcome to a new REELS Spotlight Cinema Series at Scotia, where each series of films highlights a particular actor, director, or theme. This series spotlight shines on movies that highlight the locations in which they are set.

Meet Genny, a therapy dog who would love to listen to you read a story. For children in grades K-5 with an adult.

Enjoy a friendly game of Bingo with light refreshments. 

Winners awarded small prizes.

Join us for this 5-week series for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers. This program encourages playing with your child and talking with child experts. Attend 5 weeks of the series to receive a completion prize. Registration required.

Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

In this class you will perform postures and breathing exercises with the aid of a chair. Students can experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor.

An active storytime combining movement and dance with books and stories! Led by an instructor from Baker School of Dance in Glenville.

Do you like to build and create? Join us weekly on Wednesdays for Build Zone where we build with Legos, Duplos, and other materials suitable for brains at various developmental stages. For ages 6-12. Younger siblings are welcome.

Join us for a fun building challenge using a variety of materials, including Legos, Magnetiles, Strawbees, and more. We supply the building materials, but projects will stay at the library, so bring your camera.

Do you like building with LEGOS? Join us for a fun LEGO challenge or create something of your own! LEGOS provided. Youth of all ages welcome. 

Registration encouraged, drop-ins also welcome.

A "forever succulent" is a handcrafted, non-living decorative plant created by wire-wrapping glass beads—often faceted to catch light—onto copper wire to form leaves and branches, simulating species like donkey tail or string of pearls.

NYS Department of Taxation and Finance will be providing assistance to taxpayers in filing their 2025 taxes for free.

Schenectady County Historian John Woodward will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research from 10am-12:30pm. No registration required.
