Welcome to a new REELS AT Scotia film series, Spotlight Cinema, where each series of films we highlight a particular actor, director, or theme. The first spotlight shines on the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who filmed two movies locally. The first was Scent of a Woman in Troy, and the second was Synecdoche, New York, shot in part here in the Electric City. All movies will start at 3:30 pm in the Scotia Meeting Room, and snacks will be provided on a first come/first served basis. Only patrons 18+ will be admitted. The screening will cover eight of his films, on the following schedule:

Tuesday, October 29th - Patch Adams( PG-13)

Tuesday, November 12th - Flawless (R)  

Tuesday, November 26th - Along Came Polly (PG-13)  

Tuesday, December 10th - Capote (R)

Tuesday, January 7th - The Savages (R)

Tuesday, January 21st - Charlie Wilson’s War (R) 

Tuesday February 4th - Doubt (PG-13)  

Tuesday February 18th - The Ides of March (R)
