QUILTBAG+ Book Club: The Fire Never Goes Out

Read the rainbow! Enjoy novels, memoirs, comics, and more books with an LGBTQIA+ focus. Talk about what you loved (or didn’t) in a welcoming environment and meet readers your age! Each monthly read will be available through the library in print and/or e-book format—secure your copy at the check-out desk! Snacks, reading lists, and a safe space provided; if you can’t join in-person, a Google Meet link will be available for all registrants.

Our July read is The Fire Never Goes Out by N.D. Stevenson. In a collection of essays and personal mini-comics that span eight years of his young adult life, author-illustrator N.D. Stevenson (Nimona, Lumberjanes) charts the highs and lows of being a creative human in the world.

The Fire Never Goes Out is available in print at SCPL locations and on-demand through Hoopla. Registration encouraged, but drop-ins welcome!
