Join us for a story time the whole family can enjoy!  While the books, songs, and rhymes will be for 1 and 2 year olds, siblings are welcome.

For one and two year olds.

Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.

Drop-in, no registration required. 

Bring your baby and bounce along to songs, rhymes, and stories! Learn about early literacy resources and connect with other caregivers. 

Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

Join us for this 5-week series for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers. This program encourages playing with your child and talking with child experts. Attend 5 weeks of the series to receive a completion prize. Registration required.

Stories & learning for families with children ages birth to 5 years old. 

Book a Librarian is a one-on-one session for personalized reference assistance with a librarian that is uninterrupted.

With themed sensory bins, story time kits, and motor skills games, you'll leave with ideas for easy-to-do activities at home. Refreshments are provided. Best suited for ages 1-3 and their families. Older siblings are welcome.

Paws for Reading. Come join Karen and Clementine! Read a book to Clementine! This week the library is celebrating National Children's Book Week's "Ocean of Stories" with a giveaway during the program.

Youngsters who want practice reading and dog lovers of all ages are invited to visit therapy dog Genny at the library. Genny is a great listener and enjoys being petted. Intended audience is ages 6 and up.

Come write in! During November, lots of people undertake new writing projects, so bring your laptop or notebook to the library and enjoy community support for your creative work.

An active storytime combining movement and dance with books and stories! Led by an instructor from Baker School of Dance in Glenville.

Do you like to build and create? Join us weekly for build zone where we build with Legos, Duplos, and other materials suitable for small hands. For ages 6-12. Refreshments are provided.

Join us for a fun building challenge using a variety of materials, including Legos, Magnetiles, Strawbees, and more. We supply the building materials, but projects will stay at the library, so bring your camera.

Get inspired by books! Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create a new masterpiece based on our book of the day. Today we'll read a dinosaur book.

Practice your creative writing skills and use your imagination! Meet us for snacks, fun writing prompts, and sharing if you'd like. For kids in grades 3-5.

Get inspired by slime! Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create a different slimy masterpiece each week. For slimers ages 6 - 12. Refreshments are provided.

Join us for a hands on science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) activity! 

Come write in! Poets, novelists, cartoonists, and more are invited to an hour of writing inspiration and sharing. Work on your existing projects or try a new prompt in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

Join local artist and educator, Megan Viscio, in the crafty arts program Glass Gardens, as we learn how make a potted plant diorama with recycled pieces of polished glass and ceramic.

A blend of asanas (postures), breathing techniques, sun salutations, and a blissful guided meditation (Yoga Nidra) to release stress and get deep rest.

Come join us as we celebrate Fall with some Diamond Art Bookmarks that you can use in your own books or library books! 

Join local artist Aysha Charise for an introduction to fashion illustration! Explore the art of fashion illustration in this fun and creative workshop designed just for teens.

Come use up some Yarn to make some yarn pumpkins! 

The group meets to read poetry written by those that attend.

Read some stories before bed! Join us twice a month for an evening edition of Family Story Time, with songs and stories suitable for ages 0 months-6 years (older siblings welcome).
