Nebula are clouds of gas and dust that can either be leftover from a supernova or the birthplace of stars. Astronomers study these beautiful objects by looking at the light produced by different elements. Join educator Dr.

If you can draw a line or a squiggle, you can draw patterns and mandalas.

We will learn a little about the background of mandalas, explore patterns and the benefits to drawing patterns and of course draw patterns and mandalas.

Light isn’t always something we can see. Sometimes light is invisible, and astronomers need special equipment to see it. Students will explore how seeing this invisible light can reveal hidden patterns.

Learn how to hem your own pants, patch a rip in your favorite sweater, fix a hole in your jeans! This introductory class will teach basic hand sewing skills such as threading a needle, basic stitches and more. All materials provided.

Explore the scientific relationships between light and color with the Science Chef! Where do you see all of these colors in your daily lives, and have you ever wondered how colors are made? Find out today at our session.

Chill out and de-stress from school at the library! Join us each month for relaxing activities that don’t feature a screen. Snacks and supplies provided! In July, we'll make lanterns from vellum and solar-powered tea lights.
