In partnership with the Town of Rotterdam, SCPL will be visiting parks around Rotterdam this Summer! Enjoy an outdoor story time with a breakfast snack and craft.

Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create an art project based on our book of the day. Today we'll read Walter the Whale Shark: and His Teeny Tiny Teeth and make shark puppets.

Join local artist Melody Often for a paint and sip! In Session 1, we'll paint Pop Art-inspired words--think BANG! CRASH! ZOOM! POP! All instruction and supplies are provided, including refreshing boba tea to enjoy as you paint!

Join an instructor from Art in Mind Studio who will guide us through painting a squishmallow portrait, while we sip on some refreshing drinks!  All materials provided.

The Shark Riddle is a half-hour shark film for the whole family, featuring HD footage of over 20 shark species.

This project is inspired by Ghost River, a painting by artist Tyson Reeder. For the program, participants will create their own ghostly scenes, out of air-dry clay, and card stock.

Calling all budding game designers! Join Gamemaster Maddy to create your own choose-your-own-adventure game using Mad Libs as a base. All supplies and instruction are provided--all you need to bring is your imagination!

Do you love TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games)? Have you always wanted to try designing a game of your own? Join this game jam and create a one-page TTRPG!

Who's ready for a pawsome time? We'll adopt a stuffed dog or cat, do a "vet" check up, take them through an obstacle course, play some games with our new pet (like Where's my Toy?) and paint a colorful paw print canvas!

We meet the first Monday of each month. Bring your own project to work on in the company other teens. Share your techniques, patterns, and ideas. All skill levels, beginner to advanced welcome!

Relax with some crayons, colored pencils or markers and an adult coloring book! 

Have you ever thought about how paper is made? You’ll learn how to make your own recycled paper and the importance of conserving our resources while decorating with seeds and petals to make your own unique designs.
