Are you interested in meeting other folks that love gardening, or maybe you are looking for a new hobby, or would like to help maintaing the gardens at the Scotia Library this spring and summer? Then join us for a general interest meeting.

Join us in celebrating Neurodiversity Awareness Month with the launch of our new program: SCPL Sensory Sessions! 

Bring your current craft project to this social group to work on, meet new people and learn new skills. From knitting to quilting, and everything in between, we can help each other begin and complete craft projects.

Participants will work with an experienced instructor to design and decorate four unique cupcakes. All supplies, and a beautiful box to take home your creations will be provided.

Adults 18+

Join us for our 3rd Craft in our crafting series, Crocheting with Jody! :)

We're throwing a Blanket Block Party to join together crocheted or knitted blocks into warm, comforting blankets for local charities. Bring your favorite joining technique and a smile. All blocks provided. 

We meet the first Monday of each month. Bring your own project to work on in the company other teens. Share your techniques, patterns, and ideas. All skill levels, beginner to advanced welcome!

Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll master the art of crafting beautiful soy candles, learning the secrets of scent and wick selection to create personalized luminous wonders for your space.

CrAFTERwork is an “after work” craft club intended to bring together patrons who enjoy trying new forms of art! Each month we will tackle a new craft. All materials will be provided.

Bring your current craft project to this social group to work on, meet new people and learn new skills. From knitting to quilting, and everything in between, we can help each other begin and complete craft projects.

Reduce, reuse, recycle... parade? Join The Schoharie River Center for an informational session and crafting jam all about the Trash Parade! 2025's First Annual Trash Parade, themed around "water," will take place in Schenectady on May 16.

The Venus Flytrap plant is independent in nature, being the only plant of its carnivorous kind that exhibits motion to actively trap its prey.

Relax during Spring Break and make a hat for yourself! Jody will teach you the basics of finger knitting hat making. For tweens & teens ages 12-18.
