Summer means StoryWalks! Enjoy the Collins Park StoryWalk, Chase the Moon, Tiny Turtle, at your own pace before story time, and then join us for more adventuresome stories and songs.

Our program begins with a story, followed by exploratory play, practicing sharing and communicating, and building literacy through fun story-themed activities for preschoolers.

A Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.

Schenectady County Historian Bill Buell will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research during this time. No registration required

Nature is filled with colors! In this hands-on program, participants will use the pigments and natural colors found in grasses, flowers, berries, rocks, mud, and other natural materials to create their own artworks.

Experts from the New York National Guard and the NYS Offices of Emergency Management and Fire Prevention and Control will lead this introduction on how to respond to a natural or human-caused disaster.

Join Kim from Cornell Cooperative Extension as we cook up a parfait with homemade granola. For Families.

Join TWC this summer to create a collaborative writing project! We’ll use a short-term tabletop game, "Colossal," to explore character development, worldbuilding, and narrative as a community of writers.

Whether you’ve been doing it forever or just starting out, bring your written words to this volunteer run community group and receive feedback from fellow wordsmiths as time permits.
