NYS Taxpayer Assistance Program

NYS Department of Taxation and Finance will be providing assistance to taxpayers in filing their 2025 taxes for free. To be eligible for free filing, taxpayers must earn $89,000 or less in 2025 (filing as an individual or family), must have basic computer skills using on-site computers or their own laptop, tablet or mobile device, and have an active email account.
