Black History Month Film Series
Celebrate Black History Month with us every Wednesday at 5pm as we screen a powerful selection of films that highlight the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history.

February 5th - Hidden Figures
Discover the untold story of three brilliant African-American women—Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson—whose work at NASA was crucial to the success of the first manned space missions. Their determination and intelligence broke barriers in a segregated America.

February 12th - The Hate U Give
This powerful drama follows Starr Carter, a young Black girl who witnesses the fatal shooting of her best friend by a police officer. As she grapples with the aftermath, the film explores themes of racial identity, systemic injustice, and activism.

February 19th - Harriet
This inspiring biographical film tells the story of Harriet Tubman, the courageous conductor of the Underground Railroad who escaped slavery and led hundreds to freedom. Her unwavering determination and bravery changed the course of history.

Join us in honoring Black history and culture through these impactful films. All are welcome to attend this free event—let's come together to reflect, learn, and be inspired by the stories that continue to shape our world.
