Schenectady County Historian John Woodward will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research from 10am-12:30pm. No registration required.

Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.

Welcome to the REELS at Glenville film series, Spotlight Cinema, where each series of films we highlight a particular actor, director, or theme. The current spotlight is a Star Wars Extravaganza with episodes 1-9 and Rogue One!

Enjoy fiber arts projects with friends.

Bring your current fiber art project to this social group to work on, meet new people and learn new skills. From knitting/crochet to cross stitch, and everything in between, we can help each other begin and complete craft projects.

We meet the first Monday of each month. Bring your own project to work on in the company other teens. Share your techniques, patterns, and ideas. All skill levels, beginner to advanced welcome!

Chill out and de-stress from school at the library! Join us each month for relaxing activities that don’t feature a screen. Snacks and supplies provided! This time, join us for a slime lab and experiment with different slime recipes. 

Teens seeking service hours are invited to join the Main Library TAG Team! Teen Advisory Groups offer input on teen programs and collections, and participate in mini-service projects.

A blend of asanas (postures), breathing techniques, sun salutations, and a blissful guided meditation (Yoga Nidra) to release stress and get deep rest.

This will be a series of Basic Computer classes. 

In the first and second class, we will go over computer usage and basic software such as Microsoft Word, and Excel.
