Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

Fun and hands-on, this interactive STEAM storytime will encourage preschoolers’ curiosity about the world around them through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math themed activities.

Schenectady County Historian John Woodward will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research from 10am-12:30pm. No registration required.

Join Mrs. Rojas for a story time presented in Spanish and English designed for families with children ages 0 to 8. Story time includes puppets, books, songs, a craft activity and a sensory station.

Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.

Join us for this 5-week series for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers. This program encourages playing with your child and talking with child experts. Attend 5 weeks of the series to receive a completion prize. Registration required.

Chill out and de-stress from school at the library! Join us each month for relaxing activities that don’t feature a screen. Snacks and supplies provided! In March, we'll bust out quick-build LEGO kits and small puzzles.

Come write in! Poets, novelists, cartoonists, and more are invited to an hour of writing inspiration and sharing. Work on your existing projects or try a new prompt in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

Join Librarian Laura in a book discussion of Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 1 by Kamome Shirahama, and a related craft. Snacks and drinks will also be provided! For kids aged 9-12.
