Book a forty-five-minute one-on-one session to get assistance in one of the following areas:

Teaching basic crochet skills to participants in order for them to create small stuffed toys.

Whether you’ve been doing it forever or just starting out, bring your written words to this volunteer run community group and receive feedback from fellow wordsmiths as time permits.

Join us at the Quaker Street book club for a discussion of West With Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge.

Join us for an hour of coffee, coloring, and conversation. Unwind, catch up with your neighbors, meet new friends, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea! For adults only, no registration is required.  All supplies will be provided. 

Enjoy a bowl of cereal and watch a classic popular television show from the last 4 decades. Bring your favorite pillow, stuffed lovie and blanket. Seating will be picnic style.  Cereal and milk* will be provided.

With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important that New Yorkers are prepared for disasters.

Peggy teaches the basics of knitting, stiches and tension. All materials are provided. For grades 3 and up. Registration encouraged, but not required.  

There’s murder most foul at the Quaker Street Branch! Once a month on a Saturday we’ll be putting on our detective hats as we play a murder mystery board game. Bring some friends or come solo!
