Drop by the Woodlawn Branch to design, construct, and decorate Mini Gingerbread Houses using a variety of sweet treats-pop tarts, frosting, candy and more.  For children and their grown-ups, ages 5 and up.

Tweens and Teens in grades 5 - 12 are welcome to come to the library to make a winter trees picture using cool colors (blue, green, and purple).

Come write in! Poets, novelists, cartoonists, and more are invited to an hour of writing inspiration and sharing. Work on your existing projects or try a new prompt in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

Drop in and play a board game! We have Operation, Scrabble, Perfection, Jenga, Guess Who, Yeti in My Spaghetti, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Connect 4, Checkers, Chess and various card games! For families with kids and teens.

Join Librarian Laura in a book discussion of Delicious in Dungeon by Ryoko Kui and a related craft. Snacks and drinks will also be provided! For kids aged 9-12. Registration is required.

Ever wanted to try the finger-knitting trend? Join Jody our fiber artist in residence, to create a small blanket section that you can use as pillow cover, part to a larger blanket, or wall hanging. All materials will be provided.
