Reduce, reuse, recycle... parade? Join The Schoharie River Center for an informational session and crafting jam all about the Trash Parade! 2025's First Annual Trash Parade, themed around "water," will take place in Schenectady on May 16. This is a creative community event aimed at repurposing recyclable materials and other waste products into puppets, costumes, masks, and banners to march in a procession in downtown Schenectady. As a community effort, the Trash Parade will be open to all ages to create and march!
