Program Description

Event Details

As parents and caregivers of young children we often question if we are providing the right environment, materials and experiences for learning and development. We wonder if we’re saying the right things, the right way. We want the best for our children and want to be sure we’re providing all they need for optimal development. With all the books, articles, advice, and social media to turn to for guidance, we often overlook that many of these questions can be answered by carefully observing our children and responding intentionally to those observations. Children are our best resource for finding out what their specific needs are. In this workshop we’ll discuss a child’s contribution to their own development and how we can support that development by responding to their natural sensory exploration, constant communication and ongoing relationship building. For Families with children ages birth to 10. Family dinner will be served the first hour of the session. Childcare will be provided during the 1-hour workshop.
