Disguise a Gingerbread Kid!

LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR DISGUISED GINGERBREAD KID TO BE INCLUDED IN THE VOTING!

Help the Gingerbread Kids escape by disguising them as your favorite book character!  Gingerbread Kids are to be picked up at and returned to the Niskayuna Branch and/or the Woodlawn Branch Libraries.  Gingerbread Kids will be displayed and voted on, at the location they're dropped off at. 

Have fun and be creative using any craft supplies you have at home.  

Open to youth ages 3 - 17.  One gingerbread kid submission per child including both branches.

START DATE: Blank Gingerbread Kids first day to pick up at either Niskayuna or Woodlawn Branches: Tuesday, February 17, 2026

END DATE: Disguised Gingerbread Kids last day to submit: Friday, February 27, 2026

VOTING: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, through Wednesday, March 11, 2026 

WINNERS: from both branches will be contacted and then announced via our Facebook SCPL Youth & Families Group on Saturday, March 14, 2026
