Event Details
Participants will learn about our wonderful local butterflies, how we can attract more butterflies to our back yards, create a butterfly garden and some ways we can conserve butterfly habitats. We will also learn interesting butterfly characteristics (did you know that butterflies taste with their feet?) Displays of butterflies and moths, cocoons, and sometimes caterpillars will be shown, and we will make a butterfly t-shirt at the end! Presented by educator and author Jerry Schneider.
For kids in grades K-5. Registration required.
