From Breath to Brush: Chinese Calligraphy in the Multicultural Present

Breath to Brush is master calligrapher Richard Wang’s interactive exhibition and workshop to show that not only is calligraphy an art, but it can also be used as a meditation tool to focus and relax the mind. The exhibited works and materials prepare the visitor to go deeper not only in conversation with the artist - who will write your name using Chinese characters selected for their sound, meaning, and visual impact - but with the medium of the written word.
