From Monday, Oct 7 through Saturday, Oct 12, the library will begin accepting donations of clean, gently worn Halloween costumes. On Wed, 10/16 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm we will host a costume swap.

Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.
NO registration required.
Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.
A storytime where books meet art. We will read a book and then using a variety of materials, preschoolers will create art that is child-directed, choice-driven, and celebrates the experience of discovery. Dress for mess!
A Baby Café is a free drop-in service offering in-person breastfeeding/chestfeeding support for pregnant and/or new parents in the community. Siblings and partners welcome! Grab and go snacks provided.
Schenectady County Historian Bill Buell will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research during this time. No registration required

Join us for an hour of coffee, coloring, and conversation. Unwind, catch up with your neighbors, meet new friends, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea! For adults only, no registration is required. All supplies will be provided.
Bring your own coloring books and supplies or use our fun collection of books, pens, markers, and colored pencils. Ages 14+
No refreshments, just open time for coloring.
