Week Calendar

Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.

Ms. Lisa's Music program is back, with "Rhyme Time", an engaging music & movement theme focused on the rhythm and rhyme of Nursery Rhymes.  Appropriate for lap-sitters, toddlers, and preschoolers with their caregivers.

Join us for a story time the whole family can enjoy!  While the books, songs, and rhymes will be for 1 and 2 year olds, siblings are welcome.

Bring your baby and bounce along to songs, rhymes, and stories! Learn about early literacy resources and connect with other caregivers. 

For babies 0-15 months and their caregivers. 

Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

Join us for this 5-week series for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers. This program encourages playing with your child and talking with child experts. Attend 5 weeks of the series to receive a completion prize. Registration required.

Join Ms. Kaela for an ocean themed story time in celebration of National Children's Book Week. Stories, movement, snack and a craft are offered to attendees. For ages 3 - 8. 

Sarah van Rijsewijk will be signing copies of her book Santa and the Sled Dogs at The Open Door Bookstore. This event is presented as part of the library's celebration of Children's Book Week and the "Ocean of Stories".

An active storytime combining movement and dance with books and stories! Led by an instructor from Baker School of Dance in Glenville. 

For children ages 3-5.  Registration required.

Do you like to build and create? Join us weekly for build zone where we build with Legos, Duplos, and other materials suitable for small hands. For ages 6-12. Refreshments are provided.

Join us for a fun building challenge using a variety of materials, including Legos, Magnetiles, Strawbees, and more. We supply the building materials, but projects will stay at the library, so bring your camera.

Join us in celebrating National Stem Day by tinkering with iPads, Coding devices, snap circuits and more.

Get ready for some hands-on science fun! We’ll create a fizzing and foaming reaction that transforms into slime you can play with!

Get inspired by slime! Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create a different slimy masterpiece each week. For slimers ages 6 - 12. Refreshments are provided.

Meet Lucky Charm, a therapy dog who would love to listen to you read a story. For children in grades K-5. This week the library is celebrating National Children's Book Week's "Ocean of Stories" with a giveaway during the program.
