Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.

Miss Lisa leads babies, toddlers and preschoolers in this interactive music class. Kids will listen to songs, engage in creative movement, and use instruments to have fun with music.  Ages 0-5 with caregiver. 

Join us for a story time the whole family can enjoy! While the books, songs, and rhymes will be targeted at ages 12 - 18 months, siblings are welcome.

Fun and hands-on, this interactive STEAM story time will encourage preschoolers’ curiosity about the world around them through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math themed activities. For children ages 3 – 6 and their caregivers.

Join us at the Scotia Branch during Scotia's annual Holiday On the Ave. celebration. We will have cookie decorating, snowflake ornament making, a children's book giveaway and more!

All ages welcome.  2-5 pm. 

Drop by the Woodlawn Branch to design, construct, and decorate Mini Gingerbread Houses using a variety of sweet treats-pop tarts, frosting, candy and more.  For children and their grown-ups, ages 5 and up.

Meet Genny, a therapy dog who would love to listen to you read a story. For children in grades K-5 with an adult.

Get inspired by books! Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create a new masterpiece based on our book of the day. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
