This program brings students into the exotic world of bats. Learn about echolocation bat calls, hibernation and migration. Make a Bat t-shirt at the end of the program! With pollinator extraordinaire Jerry Schneider.  

CrAFTERwork is an “after work” craft club intended to bring together patrons who enjoy trying new forms of art! Each month we will tackle a new craft. All materials will be provided.

Enjoy a friendly game of Bingo with light refreshments. 

Winners awarded small prizes.

Bring your baby and bounce along to songs, rhymes, and stories! Learn about early literacy resources and connect with other caregivers. 

Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

Come make a 3-D cactus craft! The perfect plant because it does not need sun or water. For school aged kids, tweens and teens. 

Do you like to build and create? Join us weekly on Wednesdays for Build Zone where we build with Legos, Duplos, and other materials suitable for brains at various developmental stages. For ages 6-12. Younger siblings are welcome.

Please join us for a three part series about Computers and Digital Literacy. 

The first part will focus on Computer Basics. The second part will focus on Internet Basics and the third part will focus on Microsoft Word.

Enjoy a story, movement, and songs.  Children are welcome to wear pajamas and bring a favorite stuffed animal and/or blanket.

NYS Department of Taxation and Finance will be providing assistance to taxpayers in filing their 2025 taxes for free.

Schenectady County Historian John Woodward will be available to answer questions and meet with any patrons looking for help with local history research from 10am-12:30pm. No registration required.

Celebrate National Frog Month at your library!  Create a frog mask that "eats" flies and test your frog flipping skills on the tabletop jungle course.  For families with children ages 3 & up.
