CrAFTERwork is an “after work” craft club intended to bring together patrons who enjoy trying new forms of art! Each month we will tackle a new craft. All materials will be provided.

Bring your current craft project to this social group to work on, meet new people and learn new skills. From knitting to quilting, and everything in between, we can help each other begin and complete craft projects.

Bring your fiber arts projects to the Crafting Nest at the Woodlawn branch library. Enjoy working together, meeting new friends, and helping each other to begin and complete crafts.

Join us for a fun building challenge using a variety of materials, including Legos, Magnetiles, Strawbees, and more. We supply the building materials, but projects will stay at the library, so bring your camera.

Chill out and de-stress from school at the library! Join us each month for relaxing activities that don’t feature a screen. Snacks and supplies provided! In January, we're going retro.

Join our beginner friendly workshop and discover the satisfying art of crochet. You will learn how to hold the hook and yarn, the 4 basic stitches, and simple pattern reading. All supplies provided. Registration required. Ages 18+

Get inspired by slime science! Join us to enjoy a storybook reading and create a different slimy masterpiece each week. For slimers ages 6 - 12. Refreshments are provided.

Each month we are going to dive into a new ARTventure!

Learn a new art medium and make something unique and fun. For school aged children in grades 2 - 5. 

We meet the first Monday of each month. Bring your own project to work on in the company other teens. Share your techniques, patterns, and ideas. All skill levels, beginner to advanced welcome!

In four sessions, learn how to make a cardigan out of granny hexagons! For tweens, teens and adults. 

This is the fourth session. Attendance for this class requires attendance of the first class held on 12/8.

Join local artist Tracy Loring for this fun, expressive portrait drawing workshop. You'll create quirky portraits using the blind contour drawing technique.
