Early literacy class for children birth to age 5, with adult caregiver. Stories, songs, activities and social interaction for the whole family.

Drop-in, no registration required. 

Join WMHT Public Television for a program of family activities. Enjoy a story about Clifford, the Big Red Dog and his owner Emily Elizabeth, make some crafts and receive a Clifford picture book to take home.

Families can drop in and learn about Lunar New Year! 2026 is the year of the Horse. Join us to learn about the holiday through fun craft activities.

Come explore the basics of Watercolor painting with ArtTEAsta Art Studio! Open to children ages 3 - 8. 

This unique program uses hands-on activities to teach the fundamentals of coding! Students will learn about binary code, computational thinking, algorithms, and processing.

Drop in during Winter Break to play a game, make a cool craft and check out a book! If you don't have a library card yet, now might be the perfect time to get one!

Do you like to build and create? Join us weekly on Wednesdays for Build Zone where we build with Legos, Duplos, and other materials suitable for brains at various developmental stages. For ages 6-12. Younger siblings are welcome.

Getting out of the house with littles is hard. To make it a little easier, this relaxed early literacy session doesn't have a firm start time. Come in anytime between 10:15 and 11:15 and we'll have toys set out.

Students will learn about the many stars and constellations and how various cultures have different legends and stories about the constellations than the ones we might be familiar with.

Join us for a fun building challenge using a variety of materials, including Legos, Magnetiles, Strawbees, and more. We supply the building materials, but projects will stay at the library, so bring your camera.

Discover the science of magnetism! Students will learn about magnets, conductors, and insulators through a series of tests.

Join us for a story time and a yoga class with local author and Instructor Tommie Burch.  Let's unwind after the craziness of the holiday season and winter break.
