Adventures begin in the garden! Join SCPL at the Children’s Learning Garden in Central Park for stories and hands-on activities all about growing.

Come check out our early literacy stations in the programming room, including a story time! We will have books previously selected for check out and a craft station every week! Activities and play stations will be different each week.

Family Adventures at the library bring children and their caregivers together for fun crafts, activities, and games.  Themed books will also be available for checkout.

Teens seeking service hours are invited to join SCPL’s TAG Team! Teen Advisory Groups offer input on teen programs and collections, and participate in mini-service projects.

Come to the library to see birds of prey up close! Meet and learn about these amazing animals.

Whether you’ve been doing it forever or just starting out, bring your written words to this volunteer run community group and receive feedback from fellow wordsmiths as time permits.

Stories, music and learning for families with children ages birth to 5 years old. Older children and pajamas are welcome.
