Celebrate what the public library does for you during TeenTober™ a month-long, nationwide library initiative in October, spearheaded by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), to promote year-round services and programs for teens.
Tweens and Teens ages 11 - 18 can pick up a Grab and Go kit full of fun crafts to enjoy doing in the comfort of their own home, thanks to your public library.
Supplies provided to make the following crafts:
- Skeleton Image on Newspaper
- Coffin jewelry or trinket box
- Haunted Terrarium Jar
Kits are available at the Rotterdam and Quaker Street branches at the front circulation desk. They are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
